If you've taken an ESL class before, you probably know that in these classes students study a lot of grammar rules and vocabulary. In Chatterfox's American English Accent training program, you won't have to worry so much about rules because you will be focusing more on how to communicate clearly and effectively in your daily life. This will involve learning about how to position your mouth to make the sounds of English as well as how to speak in a fluent and natural rhythm.
Absolutely! Several research studies have shown that with the proper training, language learners can correct errors at any stage of their learning process, even including errors they have been making for decades. Chatterfox's method incorporates the techniques proven effective by these studies.
You will begin each module with a pre-lesson recording, followed by a few short videos that will show you exactly how to use your mouth and your body to make the target sounds of that module. Then, you will work on your fluency by using those sounds in series of activities that will give you practice saying sentences naturally and using common American expressions with the target sounds. Finally, you will record a post-lesson and you can compare your recordings and make your practice plan.
ChatterFox's fluency program is designed to be completed in 3-4 months. However, the topics have been carefully selected to ensure that you see significant improvements after completing each module of the program. A module will take about a week to complete if you spend 10 minutes per day using the program.
